A WHY Group is essentially a group of people that are committed to living through the ups and downs of life together. We have a number of existing WHY groups that range from just a few members to large groups with multiple families/kids. No matter what the WHY group looks like, the members meet regularly, study the Bible with each other, and pray for one another.
Maybe at this point, you are wondering why you should join a WHY group? Well that’s a good question and we’d say there are at least 4 good reasons:
- You’ll grow spiritually as you study the Bible and have group discussions where you can ask questions and bounce ideas off of one another.
- You’ll feel like you are a part of God’s family and not just a face in the crowd like you might on Sunday mornings.
- Prayer will become more meaningful as you pray for the members of the group and they pray for and with you.
- You’ll be surrounded by love and support when life throws you a curve ball. And you’ll be able to handle the everyday stress of life knowing that you have supportive friends standing by your side no matter what.
We know that you might have a few more questions so visit the Start Your Own Group page to see a list of FAQ’s.
We realize that joining a new group can be a bit scary for some people. So remember that if for some reason you don’t click with your new small group after a few months, we can assist you in finding a new group. That said, we always encourage people to give it enough time to see if the group will grow on you and assess if you will eventually fit in. There is a group out there for everyone!
